If there are no light tanks on your team, use your good view range to out spot most enemy tanks and maybe put side shots into them.Use the mobility on this tank as your armor as you have almost no armor. In all, the Comet is a challanging medium, but you can reap from the rewards. The Cromwell is a tier 6 British medium tank which it's predecessor is the Crusader and successor is the A34 Comet. Also, you have a weak hull, not excellent speed, and a relatively large silhouette, which means rivals will be determined to send you to the garage. Although, fortunately, the ammo rack has enough durability to not explode on you with normal use, it will hinder your good gun. Going hull-down does not protect your ammo rack, which can be damaged even from the front. The gun has low alpha damage and penetration, which is a problem if you are sniping or taking the enemies head-on. But in reality, weaknesses make sure that the Comet is no good at any one thing. From the above description, you would think that the Comet is the tank of your dreams. Your turret is not all-powerful, so make you move and duck into cover. The bouncy turret front lets you go hull-down, but unlike the T29, you can't just sit there. The speed, although nerfed from the Cromwell, is still good, which lets you go the long way around and flank enemies. The traverse speed is greater than the Cromwell's, and can therefore easily circle and flank heavies and TDs. The top gun is accurate and quick-firing, perfect for long-range assualt. ![]() The Comet is a versatile thing, fit for sniping, circling heavies, and (to a certain extent) go hull-down.
